Fattorosi & Associates is boutique law firm located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley of California. We represent among other clients - studios, producers, talent agents and aspring and established pornstars - male and female. Our practice centers around the business aspect of the adult entertainment industry, not First Amendment issues. We are business litigation attorneys as well as civil litigation attorneys. We are also listed in the AVN Directory under Professional Services. We do give free consults so don't be afraid to ask and we often try to network our clients for their benefit.

Our firm has exhibited at Erotica-LA, the Exotic-Erotic Expo in San Francisco and AVN in Vegas so you might have seen us or even met us before at a show. 1. How can I join AdultBizLaw.com

Joining is easy. You can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or even Paypal.

2. What does it cost to join ?

$49.95 per month for just access to the website or $98.95 per month for website access and 1 hour of legal services per month.

3. What if I want to cancel my membership ?

Charges are billed monthly to your charge card, however you can cancel at anytime. We cannot provide refunds, but no further charges will occur. In order to cancel your account please do so directly through Paypal. We at AdultBizLaw cannot cancel your account. All billing information and account billing is handled directly by Paypal

4. What can I expect to get for my membership ?

With a membership to AdultBizLaw.com you will have access to adult industry specific case law, statutes, regulations, form contracts, legal articles, news, obscenity information, an updated "do not ship" list, information on 18 USC 2257, 18 USC 2257 compliance software, the ability to trademark and copyright your intellectual property as well as incorporate or form an LLC.

5. How often is AdultBizLaw updated ?

As relevant case law and statutes become available they will be added to our research database. We will also be adding additional form contracts and video seminars several times through-out the month.

6. Why the $98.95 membership ?

With being a Member/Client of AdultBizLaw.com you will actually be a client of Fattorosi & Associates and have a firm experienced in the adult industry on retainer and representing your interests. For $98.95 per month you get access to the information mention above as well as 1 hour of legal services each month from our firm.

7. What can I use my 1 hour for each month ?

Basically anything. You can email us questions. Call us and talk with one of our paralegals or attorneys. We can review your website for potential legal problems. We can even review simple contracts or write letters on your behalf in regards to a legal issue. We are your attorneys. We also now have video conferencing capabilities so you and one of our attorneys can chat via a webcam directly with you. 

8. What if I do not use my hour ? Do I lose it ?

No, that is the beauty of the $98.95 Member/Client option. You can bank your hours for up to one year. If you don't have a legal problem to deal with this month, just save your hour(s) until you do.

9. Can I join as a Member/Non-Client and upgrade later ?


Of course. Try us out first and if you like the site and decide you want to retain our firm just call us and we will upgrade your account over the phone.

10. I am in Michigan, can you represent me here ?

The lawyers of AdultBizLaw.com and Fattorosi & Associates are only licensed and admitted to practice before the courts of California. However, we can advise you as to federal laws affecting your adult business and can even assist with some local issues and laws. However, if you situation requires you to appear in court, you will need to seek local counsel to help you in that situation. We can help in finding you local counsel that understands adult entertainment and can also assist that attorney in your defense.

11. What types of clients do you represent ?

We represent all aspects of the adult entertainment industry, from porn performers to studios to content producers and even the small webmasters. Not to mention modeling agencies, photographers and videographers.

12. How long have you been around ?

AdultBizLaw.com has been in existence for approximately 3 years. Fattorosi & Associates for 7 years. Michael Fattorosi has been practicing law for more than 10 years.

13. How large is your staff ?

We have 3 attorneys and 2 paralegals working in our office, not to mention additional support staff.

14. What else do you specialize in besides adult entertainment law ?

15. Can I get to meet you in person ?

Absolutely. We are located in Los Angeles, California, but we attend many of the adult industry shows and events. We have exhibited and attended AEE (AVN) in Las Vegas, the Exotic-Erotic Expo in San Francisco, Internext in Florida and Las Vegas, the Phoenix Forum, Webmaster Access West, Cybernet Expo, XBiz Hollywood Conference, Exotic Dancer's and Gentleman's Club Expo in Las Vegas as well as Erotica-LA in Los Angeles. Michael Fattorosi has spkoen on legal panels at AEE (AVN), Internext and XBiz. So if you plan on attending one of the many industry conventions just drop us a note and let us know you would like to set an appointment during the show.

16. Is your firm involved in the industry ?

The firm is a member of the Free Speech Coalition and Michael Fattorosi has attended the FSC's Lobbying Day in Sacramento for the past 3 years lobbying on behalf of the industry. Also, you might have seen one of his posts or threads on an industry forum such as Oprano.com, GFY.com, YNOT.com, XBiz.com, AdultDVDTalk.com or XXXPornTalk.com. His forum name is PornLaw. 17. Does Fattorosi & Associates handle litigation as well ?

Fattorosi & Associates has been involved in major litigation in and out of the adult industry. We are trial attorneys and have filed plaintiff cases in California state court as well as US Federal Court. We have handled litigation against companies such as Playboy, Digital Playground, Vivid, Moniker, Mercenary Pictures and West Coast Productions.
